My coaching journey…
It all started with the end of life as I knew it. (How’s that for a dramatic opening?) Within a 14 month time span, I had lost everything, including my health. I could barely keep myself going. I realized something had to change and change quickly, for the sake of my children and for myself. There’s nothing like realizing that rock bottom has a basement to make you want to change things up.
After much soul searching and being alone with my own thoughts, I came to the conclusion that I was not content: that I had not been content during my entire adult life. I felt out of control, restless, and like my energy was ebbing away from me without any clue as to where it was going. I also realized this was how most people I knew felt in their everyday lives, being moved forward into the future by a current they didn’t even know about.
I made some, by society’s standards, rather extreme lifestyle changes. I regained my health and gained some peace and sanity, possibly for the first time ever. Yoga was a huge part of that. It was such a large part that I was inspired to go to school for certification with the U.S. National Yoga Alliance. Upon starting my classes, I was very humbled. I realized that I had only touched the tip of the yogic lifestyle iceberg and there was so much more to it. I devoured any and all information I could, got my certification, and decided that I just had to help others in my own small way.
I believe that we are most fulfilled when we can share with others and offer one another help. So if you are feeling out of control, discontented, overwhelmed, burnt out, or are just very interested in the rest of the proverbial yogic iceberg, send me an email about coaching (click here) and let’s chat! Your mind and body will thank you later.

Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”
